My livestock guardian, Lady. She's a Great Pyrenees.

Our new Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog, "Lady" and "Belle", a Jack Russell Terrier.
We have a new Pyrenees x Border Collie pup who joined our farm October 24, 2009.
He'll be Lady's work partner. Right now he thinks she's his mother. Photos coming soon.

Lady on her first independent assignment... she found one of our does stuck in the fence. I heard her barking and came out to see what she was barking at. She was at the goat's side and wouldn't leave her, and stayed there until I had the goat released. A side note- I'm stringing a strand or two of hotwire around the bottom of the fence to prevent them from sticking their heads through... for the horned goats, it's just like they have a fish hook on their head- it goes in, but doesn't come out!
